BAC 50 is a quaternary ammonium-based biocide with an optimized alkyl chain length distribution, ideal for formulating disinfectants, cleansers, and timber preservatives. It is also widely used in the production of fungicidal and algicidal washes, along with various other cleaning and preservation applications.

Ideal for formulating disinfectants, cleansers, and sterilant. It serves as a fungicidal and algicidal wash base for maintaining and pre-treating masonry, brick, timber, plaster, and painted surfaces. Additionally, BAC 50 is effective as an algaecide and slimicide in swimming pools, industrial water reservoirs, and cooling towers.

Application Guidelines

Apply B5-PRO using a brush or spray. The product foams upon contact, providing visible evidence that the treated area is thoroughly covered.

B5-PRO should be applied at low pressure to reduce the risk of damage. It avoids the harsh effects of scouring, scrubbing, or high-pressure washing, making it suitable for delicate and sensitive surfaces.

  • Weather Conditions:
    B5-PRO should be applied on a dry day with little to no wind.
    There should be no rain expected for at least four hours after application to ensure proper bonding and effectiveness.
  • Temperature:
    Ensure the temperature is above 5°C during application. B5-PRO may not be effective at lower temperatures.
  • Surface Preparation:
    Ensure the surface to be treated is free from heavy dirt, debris, or standing water.

Expected Results

The full restoration process will take several weeks, with visible improvements occurring gradually as the product reacts with sunlight and rain.


B5-PRO will gradually break down bacterial stains and return the surface to an improved, cleaner appearance. Keep in mind that this is a weather-driven process, and results may vary based on environmental factors.
